God’s Plan of Salvation

  1. God’s Love:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life,” (John 3:16).

  2. Man is sinful and separated from God.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Rom. 3:23); “For the wages of sin is death,” (Rom. 6:23); “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,” (Isaiah 59:2).

  3. Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for man’s sin.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me” (John 14:6); “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,” (Rom. 5:8).

  4. We must individually receive Jesus as Savior and Lord.

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,” (John 1:12); “if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved,” (Rom. 10:9); “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,” (Eph. 2:8).

  5. Believers Baptism                                                                                                                     “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?” ( Romans 6:3) “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4) “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15) “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:16)

  6. Ongoing Commitment                                                                                                                      “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service”(Romans 12:1) “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”(Romans 12:2) “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” (Romans 12:11) “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; “(Romans 12:12), “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62)
